Doberman Ear Posting
A great Doberman Ear Crop requires the skills of a knowledgeable Veterinarian with Doberman ear crop experience. Please ask to see pictures of their work to avoid disappointment and to ensure that you get the look you are wanting for your Doberman. There are many styles and lengths that need to be considered. I have found that quality aftercare, the racking, proper healing and the posting of the newly cropped ears are also a requirement for a good outcome to the surgery. Our post-operative SS Ear Rack when properly applied will allow the ears to stay erect and begin the training to stand as the ears are healing. Once the ears are completely healed and the sutures removed you can then begin the posting process of the ear by one of the many available methods of posting. A note of caution: Never leave your racked or posted puppy unsupervised during the ear cropping process. A young pup can get caught on a ear rack or tape posting and can cause serious injury or death. |
